Overview
Vendalize connects mobile vendors with property owners who have space to rent. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details you provide at signup (name, email, role).
- Profile information you add (business name, vendor type, permits, certificate of insurance).
- Listings, bookings, messages, reviews, and agreement attestations you create on the platform.
- Payment and payout details handled by Stripe. We do not store full card or bank numbers on our servers.
- Usage events (pages visited, listings viewed) used to improve the product.
How we use your information
- To operate the marketplace and process bookings.
- To verify eligibility (insurance, permits) before bookings are confirmed.
- To communicate with you about your account, bookings, and important changes.
- To prevent fraud and enforce our Terms of Service.
Sharing
We share only the information needed to complete a booking: a vendor and property owner will see each other's name, business name, and contact details once a booking is confirmed. We use service providers (Convex, Stripe, email delivery) under contract and do not sell personal information.
Your choices
- Access or update your profile from your dashboard.
- Request deletion of your account by contacting support. Some records (e.g. signed booking agreements) are retained to meet legal and tax obligations.
- Opt out of non-essential email by using the unsubscribe link in each message.
